MBG LIVE Schedule + Classes + Coaches

Joining in training with our LIVE class will give you a fantastic experience to learn from the best in the business. Classes will also be recorded if you cannot make the session time. MBG LIVE Class Details

MBG Daily Training - 2 basic classes: Strength Mon, Wed, Fri and HIIT Tue, Thu. MBG Daily is a program that gives you all aspects of physical training. Strength, Power, Stamina, Speed, Agility, HIIT (high-intensity interval training), and META (metabolic - means timed strength workouts). Classes have 3 levels of training to choose from 

  • Stability (STA) is for beginners, older or injured people. 
  • Strength (STR) is for those with a good baseline of training, strength, stamina and are generally not movement limited. 
  • Power (PWR) is for those that are very experienced in training with high levels of strength, power, speed, agility, and stamina. 

Along with all MBG Daily’s we include a 10-20 minute BAASE routine to improve range of motion, actively balance the body and pre-hab / re-hab any aches and pains or injuries.

Simple & Strong training is a program for people who want to keep it simple and get strong. Movements will be done with integrity and you must know your numbers to progress every week. Each session will consist of two to four strength exercises using your own bodyweight, kettlebells, bars/plates, or bodyweight equipment. The focus will be on upper body, lower body, core, and no metabolic.

Bodyweight Training: MBG Bodyweight workouts use minimal equipment and will challenge your bodyweight movement skills and strength on a daily basis!!

BAASE class - (Balance + Active Alignment + Stability + Extension)

  1. To help you identify the misalignment's that are causing aches and pains
  2. Assess and Diagnose aches and pains
  3. Prescribe methods to deal with aches and pains and
  4. We recommend joining Jessica in Live Zoom classes OR following one of our many sequences on a daily basis...LIVE or Recorded.

TRAINER INFO: Joe Hennessy, CNT - Teaches Simple & Strong classes.  https://www.facebook.com/riverfish72 / @riverfish72

TRAINER DESCRIPTION:  Joe started at Monkey Bar Gym-Madison as a student in January 2006, completed his CNT training in 2007, and has been an instructor since March 2013.  In integrating his knowledge of yoga, BAASE, kettlebell, and bodyweight training, Joe emphasizes the importance of establishing strong foundations for healthy movement. He teaches with relentless positivity and particularly enjoys working with people who are hungry to learn and become part of the MBG “teach one, teach all” tradition.  He is also a fisheries biologist and parent of 3.5 year-old twin daughters.

 

TRAINER INFO: Rich Jun, CNT - Teaches MBG Daily classes. Facebook / @shooonuff

TRAINER DESCRIPTION:  Rich started training at the MBG in January of 2012 with a fitness challenge.  He never left.  Rich became CNT in 2018.  Rich loves teaching classes and tries to inject his classes with positive energy!  He believes MBG is a path to living with vitality.  He is also an optometrist.

 

TRAINER INFO: Wes Innes, CNT - Teaches MBG Daily: Strength and HIIT Conditioning classes.

TRAINER DESCRIPTIONS: Wes is owner of Monkey Bar Gym Australia and has been a Personal Trainer since 2009 and a Certified Natural Trainer (CNT) since 2013.

Wes is also JGXT Certified, Sport Power Coach and Level 2 Kettlebell Coach. Wes has been involved in traditonal martial arts for 20 years, with the last 7 years training with Krav Maga Global (Darwin). Wes and his wife Lexi have a 3.5 year old son Zan and a new puppy named Cleo!

TRAINER INFO: Greg Jones, CNT Elite - Teaches MBG Daily Strength

TRAINER DESCRIPTIONS: Greg Jones Owner of Monkey Bar Gym EastSide, (Bellevue and Redmond in Washington state), certified personal trainer since 1995.  Played three Sports in college highlighted by becoming a National All Star after his senior season in 1995 in Football at EOU.  Greg attained  his Bachelor‘s of Science degree in Physical Education with a minor in Nutrition from Eastern Oregon University in 2008, became a CNT in 2013, and a CNT Elite trainer in 2015.  Greg’s simple and strong MBG coaching focuses on functional movements, where he specializes in training Professional MMA and BJJ competitors.  Mobility, Stability, and Strength  movements along with being in align with ones journey with their specific needs in mind is emphasized in his programming as there is not a one size fits all program for everyone.  Stability, strength, will mostly be shown, and alternative “power” movements of the different exercises are addressed in his curriculum of Strength and HIIT workouts.
